Carver Summer Reading Project
At Carver Middle School, we believe that reading and learning does not end when school is not in session.  Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders were provided a book to read for the summer. You must now choose one of the following assignments to be completed.  Project assignments will be due to your English teacher by Friday, September 4th.  Students, who read their book and complete their summer reading project, will be rewarded at the beginning of the school year.
***For students that have been redistricted to Carver and did not receive a book, please come by Carver Middle School for your free book.

Summer workouts for volleyball will begin soon! Please continue to check this website or our Facebook page for updates!

7th Grade Immunization Requirements
Students entering 7th grade are now required to have
1 TDAP
                 1 Meningococcal

Immunizations are required by law for entry into North Carolina schools. Make sure to get these important immunizations now.  You will only have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date immunization record for your child. If proof of vaccination is not provided by the end of the 30 calendar day period, your child will be suspended from school until they provide proof of immunization as required by law.

Applications should be returned to William Clark at Scotland High School or returned to the office of Scotland County School your child attends.  The first day of both sessions will begin in the Media Center of Scotland High School.  Rosters will be posted on the Driver Education page of the Scotland High School webpage.  Every attempt will be made to place your child in the session of your choice but space limitations may not allow that to happen.
